Smoked Biltong uses only the finest quality fully traceable grass fed British & Irish silverside of beef. Gently smoked over Beechwood shavings for four hours adding a lightly smoked flavour to our original biltong.

The beef is marinated with a combination of natural preservatives and a very small amount of nitrates, these are used primarily for your safety and not to give it a shelf life of a hundred years like you’ll find in other supermarket meat snacks. Our shelf life is two months meaning you’ll be eating biltong at its best!

The biltong is then gently dried with a constant airflow losing 60% of its weight, combining and concentrating the spices and aromatics resulting in a protein packed, thickly cut, deliciously intense, meaty flavoured artisan biltong.
